(8/19/09) Note: Not all the posts are being posted here for reading convenience. Viskas, LS trial member, was also killed this day as he was trying to protect Anian. Bless his soul.
Brooklyn lowered her front half, wigglin' her rear as she reached out to paw the squirrel.. "It's good eatin'.. Hey.." She began to whimper.. "D'you like runnin'? I like runnin, wanna play tag?" God, it was Brook's favorite freaking game, her favorite ~thing~ in the world, to run around like an idiot and just chase things, or have things chase her.. She was freakin' built for it.
Anian"Tag?" Said the pup, placing her rear on the ground. She tilited her head to the side in mock curiousity, pretending to have no idea what the game was. "Tag! You're it!" Exclaimed Anian before scampering off into the tall grasses of the park and running farther and farther away from her home. Tag was a favorite game of the darkly-pelted pup, usually quickly pouncing on her packmate's tails and hiding when in boredom.
Brooklyn was so riled up that, when she was tagged, she ran in just about every direction but the right one- eventually she caught on, lumbering after the puppy in the clumsiest of ways. Big grin, mouth ajar as she ran up behind the puppy and attempted to snatch it up by the neck- this is what they meant, right? By saving a puppy and giving it a new home? ..Man, she thought she was doing the right thing by snatchin' it up (if consented) and taking it away.
Anian laughed as she was snatched up by the older wolf, thinking it was a game still. "Hey!" She flailed her paws, still giggling. "Put me down, crazy!" It had been a game at first, at least, those were Anian's thoughts. But the she-pup got a feeling it wasn't just a game anymore. "C'moonnnn, Put me down." She said when she wasn't placed on the ground and making a pouty face. "Where are we going?"
Brooklyn folded back her ears as she carried the lump'a'pup. Almost in an ecstatic way, she was grinnin' while she ran, pure joy in her eyes while the wind whipped and her legs carried her away. Speaking wasn't necessary, not until they got to their destination!
